Flavors is Closing Down

With regret, we’ve made the decision to close down Flavors.me.

We fully appreciate how frustrating this is and hope you understand that we’ve deliberated over this decision for many months. Recent issues with Flavors have forced us to look very carefully at the service we provide and we no longer feel we can offer a robust service into the future.

We’ve already disabled new sign-ups and in the coming months we will begin to retire parts of the service. Due to this, we will be closing free user accounts on 31st March 2017 and Premium subscriber accounts on 18th May 2017. You are more than welcome to continue using Flavors until these dates, but we’d encourage you to start looking for an alternative solution.

I'm a Premium subscriber, what does this mean for me?

We sent an email with full details during week commencing 13th February 2017. Please find a summary of that information below.

  • Premium subscriber accounts will be closed on 18th May 2017.
  • If you have an existing recurring payment with Paypal, you should have received a suspended payment notification.
  • Anyone who renewed their yearly premium subscription after June 2016, who hasn't already been refunded, will receive a refund via Paypal in late March 2017.

I have a domain hosted with Flavors, what does this mean for me?

We sent an email with full details during week commencing 13th February 2017. Please find a summary of that information below.

  • We will transfer your domain management to Hover - a market leading domain registration platform.
  • The transfer will take place in approximately mid-March, at which point Hover will be in touch with clear and simple instructions on how to manage your domain.
  • If you have an existing recurring payment with Paypal, you should have received a suspended payment notification.
  • Your domain will not expire and no service interruption is expected.
  • The migration to Hover's management is free of charge.
